Economistas Sin Fronteras

Economistas sin Fronteras (Economists without Borders) is a non-for profit association, registered on May 30th, 1997 in the Ministry of the Interior’s Associations Register, with No 162.320. We are a Non-Governmental Development Organization (NGDO) created to help disadvantaged communities improve their quality of life, both directly through expert assistance and through specialized assistance to other NGOs and their programs. We are economists who place particular priority on promoting social inclusion, as well as social participation by all the individuals and businesses sensitive to issues of poverty and marginalization.

Our organisation aims to:

• Raise awareness of the problems of underdevelopment, inequality, poverty and its causes, and in our capacity as economists offer proposals, ideas and policies.
• Contribute to education on development, and raise public awareness of the social and economic problems of the third and fourth worlds.
• Develop projects that strengthen the development capacity of communities and individuals living in conditions of extreme poverty and need, and cooperate with associations and institutions on projects with similar objectives.
