  • FTSE Group is a world-leader in the creation and management of indexes. FTSE indexes are used extensively by investors worldwide for investment analysis, performance measurement, asset allocation, portfolio hedging and for creating a wide range of index tracking funds.
  • FTSE Group manages and calculates over 100,000 indices daily, including the FTSE Global Equity Index Series, which includes world-recognized indexes ranging from the FTSE All-World Index to the FTSE4Good series and the FTSEurofirst series, as well domestic indexes such as the prestigious FTSE 100 index.

The FTSE4Good Index Series

  • Innovative series of real-time indices designed to reflect the performance of socially responsible equities that covers five markets: UK, Europe, US, Japan and Global. Four tradable and five benchmark indices make up the FTSE4Good index series.
  • Selection criteria cover three areas: environmental sustainability, human rights, and stakeholder relations (including supply chain labour standards and countering bribery).
  • Inclusion provides recognition a company meets internationally recognised corporate responsibility good practice standards, as well as exposure to a global network of investors.
  • Reviews of the index take place in March and September at meetings of the independent FTSE4Good Policy Committee.
  • FTSE Group contributes income including FTSE4Goodlicense fees to UNICEF, the global children’s charity.
